ok back from alcoy. place is beautiful. very relaxing. that friday, we didn't do much. got there pretty late so we just watched a movie, ate dinner, and slept. the next day, went kite flying (dude, this kite is massive. about 4 feet. and the wind was crazy strong, so i'd be pulled easily) went on the jet ski. only kay was able to try wakeboarding because by the time the water was calm, it was pretty late. so pretty much water, eating, sleeping, and overall relaxing. today, i tried my hand at sailing. i was on a topper, a 1 or 2 person sail boat. uh....had a big problem just starting off. ming didn't exactly teach me all that much. so the boat tipped over at least 5 times in the beinning. finally i was off and was able to sail away from the shore. but next thing i knew, i was waaay far for my liking. and i've discovered i apparently have an AMAZINGLY HUGE FEAR OF DEEP WATER. and not because i can't swim. i'm afraid of what's in the deep water. scary. so i did everything in my power to stay afloat and not have my boat tip over. trying to get back to the shore took multiple exchanges of shouting between ming and me and about 20 minutes. finally when i got back to shore, they asked roland to help me. so he got ont he boat with me too. now problem, two big guys = heavy boat. so we moved very slowly in the water. next thing i knew...again, we were really far. except the boat was really full of water. eventually, aye...my worst fear, we tipped over in the water. we got the boat up...oh, and the boat fell over again. and again. and again. and again. and again. tooka long while. finally we got back to shore. except we were maybe a quarter mile off where we should have been. so roland tried to arc back to the correct beach. but that didn't work. so eventually tito ed had to get me on the wave runner, and roland just went off by himself. no more sailing for me for a long while.
